Reviews for Insane Audio JK2001 Head Unit for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK & JK Unlimited
It has a ton of features that I like.
AWESOME product. Put this in my 15 JKU Rubicon. Looks and fits perfect. The nav software is great and has full 3d topography built-in. Nav is also entirely offline which means you don't need your phone and it works in those places where there is no cell service. Trail maps built in. I put all my music on a SD card and its great. The fact that you can run apps is over the top but still cool. Do you really need Netflix in your Jeep? Of course not. But its pretty darn cool.
I ordered this awhile ago and finally got around to installing it. It was a pretty straight forward installation. It looks very nice in the dash, like it was meant to be there from the factory. It has plenty of inputs for cameras. The screen is nice, touchscreen works well. Plenty of options with the android operating system. I like the Bluetooth odb2 dongle. It is an easy way to display gouges and clear codes. The fm/am receiver isn't great. I do use a short little antenna, but the stock radio definitely got better reception with the same antenna. Overall it is a nice little upgrade for an old 2008 wrangler. I like it alot. Only time will tell if it was built to last, but so far I am very happy with my purchase.
Great sounding radio with a lot of add ons apps especially if you use an Android, unfortunately doesn't work as well with Apple products without the adapter. Some quirks with the system, map is horrible, rather use Waze app. Stupid name logo on front looks like an elementary student drew it. Some quirky features and questionable if worth the price. Customer service was great and responsive. Probably would not buy again.
