Can the Halo's be wired to be on all the time? Or do you have to turn them on manually?
They can be wired however you like. There are positive and negative wires coming out of the rear of the light for this. I just uploaded an additional photo showing the wiring.

Does this product need a trim ring to complete the installation or is the trim ring not required?
No aftermarket trim ring is required. These bolt into the factory buckets and mount using the factory trim rims.
