I have the Mopar OEM splash guards mud flaps on both front and back. Can these be installed without removing them or will the running boards be too long to accommodate the space needed to fit properly?
These are not compatible with front splash guards. You will have to remove them to install these steps. The steps will protect the fender from debris, so you are not losing protection.

Are these sidesteps steel or plastic?
They are a plastic shell on a steel frame for support

Yes this kit comes with the hardware that is needed for the initial installation.

How wide is the step?
The full width is 5" the tread area is 4" wide

Will these steps fit right on my 2020 Rubicon Gladiator
You will have to remove the factory Rubicon Rock Rails in order to install any steps on the Gladiator at the moment.
