Reviews for Oracle Lighting Oculus 9" Bi-LED Projector Headlights for 18-24 Jeep Wrangler JL & 20-24 Gladiator JT
Fantastic lights! Look sharp and are very easy to install. Took about an hour only because I took my time as even basic wiring causes me some trepidation. The only troubleshooting I had to do was realize that you need a 5amp fuse to go in the top slot of the adapter. The connection was good cigarette lighter in-cab worked, but running lights did not. Went to my location auto part store purchased a 5amp fuse and BINGO!! Highly recommend big upgrade for my Gladiator
Big difference from factory lights. I can see a lot better on dark back roads
Luv ‘em!! Extremely easy to install. Took maybe 1/2 hour. Including time to drink a beer while installing.
Read the instructions, watch the video... no problem! Halos come on when you start up your Jeep when you install correctly to the proper fuse. (Just follow the instructions!). Huge upgrade over the factory halogens!!!!
There were fantastic. Very easy to install. Instuctions were pretty good, although, I did follow a YouTube video for installation. I drove from St. Louis to OR this winter, and no icing issues while driving in snow conditions.
Awesome lights so far. I installed them on my JLU about a week ago, and what a difference from the stock headlights,, Much brighter, whiter light allows for better vision of the road, and the halos are super cool looking. Installation was extremely easy. If I didn’t have to remove my winch to get the grill out, it would have taken less than an hour.
I put them on my 2020 Gladiator. Lights a bright and the halo (I got the white/w no fancy colors) looks great. VERY easy installation. View the Quadratec video, have the necessary tools handy, and you can be done in under an hour. Easy to adjust with installed allen wrench. I should have done this a year ago...
I bought the white halo version. No controller or flashing colors.
The headlights are super bright. The cutoff is extremely sharp. Some might say too sharp, but it hasn’t bothered me. It is definitely dark just past the cutoff. Driving lights fix this problem.
The halo is attractive.
Installation was easy once I overcame the fear of tugging on the grill. If you get to that point, be patient. There are five clips at the bottom of the grill. Locate them and pull firmly directly at the clip and it will come free. Do not bend or pull at the grill at a place that feels flimsy.
Just get it already. Night and day difference. Literally. Easy bolt in and the installation guide and grill removal guide from the Quadratec YouTube channel really helped keep the install clean and simple. Took maybe 45 minutes total.
Having owned these exact headlights on my previous Jeep, I can affirm the light pattern is as precise as any headlight, including the coveted Acura TLS project HID headlights. LED is of course more efficient and cool, but what you'll appreciate immediately after install is the crisp, clean cutoff lines. This ensures oncoming traffic is not blinded , while keeping the road brightly lit. When you go to highbeam, the cutoff is lifted and you get the same bright light distributed far down the road. Headlights don't get any better than this one. Jeep's OEM LED headlights scatter light over the cutoff, which might be helpful in some ways (where the dark area above the cutoff isn't entirely black), but that defeats the purpose of the cutoff design that the Acura TLS design made the modern standard. Kudos to Quadratec for selling these bad boys, and at a substantial discount.
So far so good. Much brighter than the oem halogens.
