Reviews for Oracle Lighting Oculus 9" Bi-LED Projector Headlights for 18-24 Jeep Wrangler JL & 20-24 Gladiator JT
Awesome upgrade to my '20 Gladiator. Easy install <30 minutes.
One of the easiest installs you will encounter. No issues with install and works great. I opted to run the DRLs to my switchbox to control them manually from inside and works great!
I ordered the Oculus headlights with the Bluetooth ColorShift option. It was a simple plug-in installation after connecting the BC1 wires together. The BC1 wires require stripping and splicing, but first I recommend cutting the BC1 wires shorter so that you don't have too much wires under the hood (I had to cut off a few feet). After installation, the headlights look awesome!
Easy install, fit perfectly, look great.
Install was pretty easy, and the Quadratec instructions were great too. Be sure to watch the install video while planning your install so you are sure to have the right gear before you start, like a wire crimping tool, a 10mm socket wrench and a flat head screw driver. I also recommend ties for the wiring to keep the wires orderly when finished. The lights go in super easy, and they look sharp on the vehicle and provide very clear and crisp with the right shape of beam for driving on the road in the darkest of scenarios. Several times brighter than the factory halogens they replaced. I did rigorous comparisons with all the top tier alternatives (and even a few low cost off-shore options) before selecting Oracle, and they have definitely met my expectations. Put in the right research and spend a little extra for quality, especially if you are going to save the money installing things yourself.
Upgrade to filament style on Sport model
There are better and cheaper options out there. To really benefit from these you need to run 3 different controllers which I did not do..the halos work great but Oracles app sucks!
I really like the look of these lights. However, a couple of items to consider if you get these lights - 9" Bi-LED w/Halo and Switchback. 1 - for the install to go easier you need to partially remove the fender liner. This means you'll need replacement rivets and tool to install. 2 - the halo doesn't work as a true DRL with lights on Auto. The halo works when headlights are on (Auto or On position) or if you are in the running light position. IMHO, this really isn't a DRL.
Pretty neat. Easy to instal. The low beams cut off line is very sharp, but the cut off lines are crooked by a small degree.
Condensation may occur inside the lens, probably due to the usage environment.
