Reviews for Mopar 68240905AA 2" Receiver Hitch for 18-22 Jeep Wrangler JL

I am giving this one star because the description is not clear. This hitch does NOT fit most Rubicon and Sahara equipped with the plastic rear bumper. There is a bracket in the way. In case any were wondering why some hitches have 4 nuts welded to the plate and other have only 2 middle nuts, this is why. The bracket on the Rubicon/Sahara plastic bumper has the other 2 nuts. The FAQ does reference this but the description should be more clear than "One piece molded plastic bumper" (sport). I wouldnt have known my Rubcon doesn't have this plastic bumper. I got lucky this went on back-order so I had to buy the Quadratec one. I really just wanted OEM parts but since time was an issue, I got the Quadratec branded one and it works perfect. It will take about 30 mins to install either one. Super easy.

Ordered this hitch and hardware. The hitch worked with the 2 factory bolts that were in my frame all ready. The hardware they sent me I needed for the 2 bolts did not work. How can you sell a hitch and hardware not fit the welded bolts on the hitch you're selling?
I had several calls with Quadratec and they could not figure this out. The issue is the threads are not correct. I told them this, but they insisted that I have the correct hardware. This is still unresolved going on 2 weeks now. I have to order the bolts from Mopar now at 20 dollars each + shipping. So now the hitch will cost 100 dollars more if you need all 4 bolts.
