I have a 2020 JLU with OEM steel bumper, what mount plate options do I have? I see plenty online taking about the "Maximus-3" option for this winch, but apparently it's discontinued.

Will the fairhead bolt directly to winch or is it only to bolt to an opening in bumper?

I would expect that this cradle mount from Warn for receiver hitch mounting would also have a high likelihood of accomodating a Smittybilt winch Receiver Winch Mount Thanks for your inquiry.

If you have the factory base bumper then yes you will need a winch mounting plate. Thanks for your question.

Yes it will. It appears that on the QRC https://www.quadratec.com/p/quadratec/qrc-front-winch-ready-bumper-jeep-wrangler-jk has an image shared by a customer of a successful fit with ample clearance.

how much does this winch weigh?
Sure - just click on the winch you prefer between these two, then click on the "Specs" tab. This will show the weights, among other measurements. The steel cable version is approx. 84-lbs shipped. The synthetic rope version is approx. 60-lbs shipped.

i have the smitty built winch xrc 9500 what diameter is the the rope I need to replace mine. thanks
This winch included a 10,000lb 3/8" X 94' synthetic rope.
