Its sturdy and fits great. Love having a steel cooking table for a stove in the campsite that's out of the way.

The hinges seem to have been reworked since past reviews with the clasp, but still have an issue. One hinge bolt wont lock and keeps pushing the slide pin mount outward. It still latches and doesn't make noise, but the slot holes the hinges use should be reduced or hardware revamped.

The slide out cutting board I liked. Looks like a great utility surface.

Returned this tailgate because the poor design of the latch, left latch was riveted on at an angle and the table would not close. Looks like Fishbone has redesigned the latch from recent pictures. Returned product and currently waiting for a refund. Be cautious on your returns as this cost me $84.06 to UPS back to Quadratec.

I wish I would have seen Thomas’ review before I bought it. The latches are garbage. It seems there was no thought put into it for the weight of the table.

Bought because of Fishbone quality. Installation very easy. The two latches are terrible! They vibrate open and table will come down while driving. Have reported directly to Mfg and they are working on a new latch. No solution yet. Until new latch system is out on I can not recommend.
