Reviews for Go Rhino 5950000T XRS Overland Xtreme Bed Rack-Full Size for 20-21 Jeep Gladiator JT
Love this rack. Absolutely perfect addition for my JT. The height is perfectly aligned with the cab for easy and safe hauling long 2x8 or ply wood from home depot. Only complaint is that the vertical aluminum struts, several of the screws have fallen out despite torquing them. Next time I'd use thread locker in their installation.
Pretty awesome rack. However, the one I recieved looks much different than pictured. It seems to be a newer version. I also has the old version instructions which makes things a little confusing. Overall, I'm happy with it. Also got the handles and folding table.
Took way to long to get but i do like the looks and it works well for me
As others have said, the rack arrives in multiple boxes on different days. Really happy with the rack, love the mix of steel and aluminum to keep weight down. No rattle and feels really solid.
I love this rack. So many are much more expensive and I don't see them doing as much as this one does. I'm guessing Go Rhino read the reviews about shipping condition because mine came packed like it was ready to be airdropped and in perfect shape. Install was easy. When I mounted my canopies to each side with the Go Rhino brackets, they worked great. I'll say that I over-torqued the bolts when I mounted the the brackets and it bent the aluminum rails bolt slots a little. That's on me, but a precautionary note. I'd buy this again.
Received quick, installed to my jeep gladiator without any problems, one of my first purchases. this is one heavy duty unit and it comes in two large boxes took a couple of days to get the second box but this was no problem.
Overall this is a great rack and I am very pleased with its design but he Go Rhino quality has definitely left the building. To start the instructions are worthless with a few exceptions, my side rails were different lengths (more on this later), and it has only been on my Gladiator less than two months and it has rust issues already.
More one the side bars being different lengths. I called the Go Rhino customer service line and at first they had no idea what I was talking about. Then he told me I would have to file a warranty claim. Why not just send the correct length to start with? So I ended up measuring for the correct size, removing the end caps and cutting it down to size to match the others.
As far as mounting it to your Gladiator I would suggest getting the trail rail system if you do not have it already. The bed clamps I felt would not hold up to off road use due to the thin bed lips on the Gladiator. I am much happier with the bed rail mounting system. It feels much more secure and durable.
Overall it is a great rack design, just a poor quality checks at the factory, and even worse customer service.
Came in multiple packages on different days. Boxes pretty beat up but no product damage. Powder coating QC is not ideal. A few missed spots, light rusting at welds, most button head bolts showing right rust. Where the nonstructural cross bars mount, there is an HD plastic attachment. Seems tough, but only the straight segments are aluminum, not the end caps. Install went largely without a hitch, got it on myself. Looks great, lots of attachment points. But gotta keep an eye out for rust and touch ups.
-Product came with a few scratches on the mounts which wasn't a shipment issue. I touched up those exposed areas. Not a big deal.
-A whole entire step is missing (no bottom connecting tube manual), but self explanatory.
-The mounting feet for the non rail can only bolt on 6 of 8 bolts.
-Gear plate kit is a bit off for rotopax mounts.
-2 month wait for an "in stock" product.
-its not perfect and could use better Quality Control
Overall i love the concept and design but could use work.
It’s a decent rack fir what u pay for it. But putting it together was a really big pain, the bed rails didn’t come with mine so I couldn’t put it on and still can’t put it on which infuriates me.
