More than worth it. This winch is a really nice one and way easier to install than others we've had in the past. Came with very detailed instructions and all the necessary hardware. It seems very well-made. Bonus points for looking really good, too.

The instructions tell you to mount your fairlead to the winch plate first, and that's an important instruction to follow, as there will not be room for that after installing the winch...

Our TJ is right-hand drive, and therefore, the battery is on the opposite side of where it typically would be. I was concerned that we would not have enough cable to connect to the battery, but this wasn't an issue at all. There was plenty to work with.

Super easy to install.

I have yet to use the winch, but I can speak to the install. It was very easy to install on the stubby bumper on my 2022 Wrangler Rubicon 4Xe. Routing the wire to the battery was fairly easy and the wires were plenty long. The hardware seemed to be of good quality, too.

It was a easy install, less than an hour. It was the right price and it works great.
