I ended up going with the 10,000lbs synthetic winch, more than capable of doing any type of off-road recovery I will need, was very easy to install and I loved the fact that it comes with wireless remote so you can get to a safe zone if what your pulling is a little risky. And the fact that it has amber glow lights is a bonus, goes with the rest of my light accents

I had a beautiful warn winch on my 2012 rubicon unlimited. I sold that to go back to the TJ and just installed the quadratec stealth 12klb synthetic winch and have to say quadratec has a very well thought out design and features for much less. Installed on stock bumper with their winch plate and install was very simple. Can't wait to get stuck!
