Is this product water resistant? I go without doors and windows a lot.
The Alpine ILX-W670 head unit is not waterproof.

Are there any other parts required for installation?
You will need the installation kit if this is the first time changing the stereo. Other than that, trim removal tools would be helpful, but nothing else is necessary.
