Winch plate was a straightforward install and simple. 18mm Deep Well socket for the bumper is a must have. My bracket must have been an updated version as it was just 1 piece plus the plate for the front of the bumper. From start to finish was about 2 hours total. I couldn’t be happier with the way it looks and how it went.

Great product in that it allows for a winch to be mounted on the factory bumper. Fairly easy install, I did it solo but a helper wouldn't hurt. The photos on the instruction sheet were a little fuzzy on my copy but bringing them up on Quadratec"s website was helpful. very robust design and it looks great.

Like everyone else, know that the instruction manual that comes with this will NOT match. The new winch mount does not come with a back plate. (Like others I thought I was missing a part too.). Quadratec, update your instructions!

As for the plate itself it is a good fit and with some finess everything lined up how it should. I haven’t tested strength yet on a pull but this is everything you’d need to mount a winch on a 2019 Rubi Unlimited.

Price and uniformity

Good price, well made and fairly easy to install. However the instructions in the kit were for a different winch plate. Luckily instructions are on website and are well written. Excellent packaging eliminating almost any chance of damage. It was necessary on my 2021 Jeep gladiator rubicon with steel bumper to do some grinding to keep winch cable from rubbing. With winch plate and Smittybilt X20 winch installed, realized inside bottom bolt on both sides of bumper was too close to baseplate, could not tighten nut with any type of tool. Baseplate design flaw!

The winch plate feels sturdy and fits well. Only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the direction booklet pictures did not match the winch plate sent causing a massive headache initially thinking I got sent the wrong parts.

The winch plate is nice although the directions that came with it was for a different winch plate so it had me all confused on installation. I finally just had to figure it out on my own and it was easy to install. This is why I give 2 stars.
