Reviews for JKS Manufacturing JSPEC110K JSPEC 2" Suspension System for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ & Unlimited
I bought the JKS 2 inch lift for my 2004 Wrangler. While installing the lift the rear differential was upgraded from a Dana 35 geared 3.08 to a Dana 44 geared 3.73. The front differential was upgraded to match. I went with Nitto Trail Grappler MT’s in a 285/70R16 on factory Rubicon wheels. They’re essentially a 32X11.50. After the install it rides, drives and handles better than stock. I would buy it again. I’ve submitted a photo of my red wrangler, awaiting approval.
I accidently shipped this to the wrong address, but Quadratec representatives help me correct my mistake and avoid any delays!

I just installed this lift this weekend. My son and I were able to do it over two days. We did the back Saturday afternoon in about 4 hours and the front Sunday in about 5. Part of that time included two runs to the store for a spring compressor and a 9/16th drill bit and your usual time dealing with original factory hardware on a 25-year-old Jeep. Given it was our first time doing a lift like this, I was happy with the time commitment. Overall, the product quality is excellent. Hardware and parts are beefy and well-machined. I still need to finish the alignment and install the new tires, but the initial drive was incredible. All the squishiness was gone. It felt better than when I drove it off the lot 25 years ago.
My one gripe, and it's a big one, was the instructions. For a $1000 kit, they were HORRIBLE. I get it, this kit is designed to be shop-installed, but we all know people do it in their garages. Had it not been for YouTube and other forums, I'm not sure we would have finished this ourselves. For $1000 bucks, it is not too much to ask that JKS have a step-by-step install video online.
Giving it 4 stars. Would have been 5 (maybe even 6) if the instructions were better.
