Gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because I haven't hooked anything up to it yet. Both the hitch and the wiring kit were well thought out and seem like good quality. It was out of stock for a long time but Quadratraec kept me updated. I had to wire-brush the '010 Jeep frame prior to install but I had success. I followed the instructions carefully and to the letter - all went well.

Nice solid construction. Nice addition to my JK. However. I have a Dynamax Super Turbo muffler. And I had a difficult time getting bolts installed. It appears that the after market muffler is larger than the stock. And i could not tuck bolts behind muffler to get them in. So I ended up disconnecting the muffler from the passenger side rubber mount and pulled down the muffler to get the bolts installed. Definitely didnt install as easily as i hoped. Also have Quadratecs Backup light kit installed. And no instructions on how to install with that kit. And figured it out. But worth it. Awesome hitch and fantastic plug and play harness. Mounts up on frame rails perfectly. Would buy again. Awesome kit Quadratec.

Bolted on quick and easy. Wiring was also a quick project. I've installed this on my wife's 2010 unlimited and my 2013 2 door. Quick and Easy for both the bolt on and the wiring. I'd recommend it for any light towing or a good center support for a yank out of the mud.

The hitch receiver fit just a hair too snug. I had to pound it in to place with a rubber mallet (didn't want to damage it). I don't mind the snug fit, but it's not advertised as being that tight. Also, the clips on the wiring harness to hold it in place are a one time use. I made a mistake and tried to take one out only to have it snap on me. Still managed to get the job done, but a clip that can be taken out would be beneficial. Other than that, it has worked great. Have not hauled anything too heavy yet, but will be in about a week and have full confidence it will get the job done.

The hitch itself is great. Installs nicely.
The problem is with the wiring harness.
The male connector is slightly too big to fit in the female connection smoothly.
When I forced the connection all the way until it clicked, the trailer lights worked.when connected to the harness, but the vehicle lights in the housing did not work. I tried everything I could think of, until out of frustration I clipped off the male connection and spliced the harness directly to the vehicle lights based on their corresponding connection. This totally screwed up the vehicle lights on both sides (reverse lights came on with the turn lights, and very dim).
What was supposed to be “plug and play” with the harness has turned out to be a black hole for my time trying to figure out how to fix.

The installation of the hitch and cable was with ease however the paint on the hitch flakes off as I use a rubber mallet to position it. Had to uninstall and repaint the hitch. The paint quality control is meh...

The hitch was ok but the cable was wrong. I installed the kit and a couple of days later I noticed a problem with the left directional light. I checked everything until finally we found out that the cable that comes with the hitch was missing the line for the left directional light. Do not know if this was a problem in one of many that they assemble, but would like Quadratec to pay more attention in the quality inspection of their products.
