Reviews for Quadratec Q9000 Self Recovery Winch in Black
Well built, fairly easy to install if you are mildly comfy working with electrical connections. The instructions could be a little more detailed, but were clear enough and the install took about 90 minutes start-to-finish. The unit is HEAVY so you may need a buddy to help you position it.
Very nice product for the $
Not used in field yet, but looks great and seems to work properly.
Works great, would buy again
I have no complaints about this winch during the 6 months I have owned it. I have used it several times and it has worked flawlessly for me. It is very durable and looks great on the front of my jeep.
I've had this winch for 2 years and have use it numerous times. Over 100 I'm sure. It's never failed and never left me stuck. Also pulled out a lot of full size trucks with my yj with this bad boy
Works great on my LJ. I can't speak for long-term reliability yet but it was able to pull me up a 50-degree incline through sand and snow when the KO2's couldn't find traction.
Perfect for my rig, didn't have to have tone swap out the alternator or battery, low battery draw for what I got. Love it. Thanks again to the guys athat quadratec, never disappointed.
have not used it yet will write another review after i have to use it .but installing it was relatively easy. some of the instructions were not clear some of the hardware was cheap. my main complaint was the positive cable was not long enough if you do not want to go through the grill and have the solenoid on the top of the winch
A good winch for the money. I have used it to pull others out of the mud dozens of times. After three years of use, I am starting to have some issues with the clutch sticking, and with plug for the remote. Still works, just have to mess with it sometimes. Overall, I have gotten more than my money's worth.
