Your pictures all show a JKU (4 door). Will this work for the top for a JK (2 door)? How would the straps be used for the 2 door top?
This works for 2 and 4-Door applications, yes.

What is the max lifting weight. The way they make it sound is it can lift the hardtop plus 140 lbs. The JLU top alone is 152 lbs. If you store the front section on the lift like many of these lifts allow.
The manufacturer recommended weight limit for this kit is 145 lbs.
