Great seat for the price. Had to modify my attachment hardware on the passenger side to make it fit.

Cj hardware is sae, bolt holes on seat are metric! Installed seat is so high steering wheel is against thighs even when tilted all way up! Was told this would fit 1978 cj5.

Don't waste your money. This seat doesn't fit the passenger side of CJ5s with a two piece folding OEM seat frame. Its not even close. I have a 1966 and a 1961, the bolt locations on the frame are at least an inch and a half off in width and about 3 inches off in length.This will not work in the passenger side.
