I am planning to install this kit, along with the geometry correction brackets. Will I also need to get exhaust spacers?

2012–2018 Models: Exhaust spacers are strongly recommended. At full suspension drop (droop), the front driveshaft will likely make contact with the exhaust crossover pipe. This can melt the protective CV boot on the driveshaft, leading to premature failure.
2007–2011 Models: Exhaust spacers are not required. The 3.8L engine exhaust layout provides sufficient clearance for the driveshaft even at full extension with a 2.5-inch lift.
Geometry Correction Brackets: Using the AEV Geometry Correction Brackets actually helps slightly by reducing the maximum driveshaft angle during travel, but it does not eliminate the need for spacers on newer models.

How will the lift height be with front/rear heavy duty bumpers, front winch, rooftop tent, and kids in the back with coolers and camping equipment?

The AEV 2.5in DualSport XT Suspension System is specifically designed for the type of heavy, expedition-style loading you've described. AEV utilizes triple-rate coil springs, which are engineered to handle varying loads without the sagging often associated with standard lift kits.
Key Features for Heavy Loads
Triple-Rate Coils: These provide a comfortable ride when the Jeep is empty but offer the necessary stiffness to support several hundred pounds of extra weight during camping trips.
Custom-Tuned Bilstein 5100 Shocks: These are valved specifically for the AEV spring rates, ensuring the Jeep doesn't feel "floaty" or uncontrolled when carrying a full load of passengers and equipment.
Expedition Ready: AEV recommends this specific kit for vehicles with up to 250 lbs of added weight for optimal performance, though many users successfully run slightly heavier setups for overlanding.

Does this kit N0222000AA come with all geometry correction parts? Are the kits and shocks tuned specifically for 2dr vs 4dr, etc? I've been running 2" spacers on the front and 1.25" on the back to level it with BFG Mud T/A 285/75/16s on 8" rims with 4.5" backspace for 10 years and it rode great. As good as factory and still averaged 16-17mpg rich isn't bad.
I just got new tires. Same brand different size. 315/75/16. They run fine but rougher on pot holes with the bigger tires and needs that's extra 1/2" and better springs to hang le bigger ties on the highway since I drive all over the South Eastern US for adventure sports. It's a Jeep 2dr Sahara now with 35s and factory 373:1 gears so it's going to do well with the offroading I do no matter what. Old washboard dirt roads at 40mph needs to be smoother like it was with the 33" tires, though. Thanks!

The AEV 2.5in DualSport XT Suspension System (N0222000AA) is a comprehensive kit, but it does not include the front geometry correction brackets as standard. Instead, it focuses on rear geometry and specific spring/shock tuning tailored to your vehicle's door count.
Tuning for 2-Door vs. 4-Door
AEV is one of the few manufacturers that provides vehicle-specific tuning. When purchasing, you must select the correct part number for your Jeep's configuration:
Specific Spring Rates: The triple-rate coil springs are tuned differently for 2-door and 4-door models to account for the significantly different curb weights and wheelbases. This ensures that a 2-door Jeep doesn't ride too stiffly and a 4-door doesn't sag.
Matched Shocks: The included Bilstein 5100 shocks are custom-valved specifically to match these AEV spring rates, providing a controlled, "sporty" feel rather than the floaty ride common with generic lift kits.
Recommendation: If you prioritize highway handling and want to eliminate the "flighty" steering feel that often comes with a lift, I strongly recommend adding the AEV Front Geometry Correction Brackets to your order. They are a bolt-on upgrade that makes a noticeable difference in ride quality.

I live in Australia and have just put this in my 4 door JK just wandering if there should be sway bar end links in the kit brought it 2nd hand and these seem to be missing no relocation brackets either is there a product you guys recommend for this

Yes, since you have the AEV 2.5in DualSport XT Suspension System, there are specifically designed components for the sway bars that should have been in the kit. The AEV 2.5" kit is unique because it is designed to reuse your factory rear sway bar links by moving them to the front and using a specific relocation setup for the rear.
According to AEV's standard parts list for the 2.5" DualSport XT, you are likely missing:
Front Sway Bar Link Relocation Brackets: These are small brackets that bolt to the front axle, allowing the use of the factory rear links.
Rear Sway Bar Relocation: Depending on the specific version of the kit, AEV either uses drop brackets for the rear or assumes you are using their track bar tower, which provides clearance.
Recommended Replacement Products
Since you are missing these parts, you have two options: buy the individual AEV brackets or upgrade to extended end links, which is often considered a better solution for off-road performance as it eliminates the need for extra brackets.
JKS Manufacturing Front Quicker Disconnects for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK - Quick disconnects, best choice for off-roading.
JKS Manufacturing JKS2943 Adjustable End Links for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK with 0-6" Lift - Adjustable length but not a quick disconnect, good for off-roading, but much more involved to disconnect for off-road use.

On a 2016 JK, would I be able to run 35x12.50R20's with a -44 offset?

Yes, a 2.5" lift should handle 35's just fine.

I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited. I am going to install the AEV 2.5 lift. I am wanting to know what size tires and what new wheels will work as far as backspace? Thanks!

With an AEV 2.5" lift on a Jeep Rubicon, you can comfortably fit 35x12.50 tires. AEV recommends a wheel backspacing of 5.72 inches to ensure proper fitment and clearance.

What size are the front sway bar end links? I have this kit installed on my 2009 Rubicon and they need to be replaced.

The AEV 2.5-inch DualSport XT Suspension System for your Jeep Wrangler JK uses front sway bar end links that measure 4.5 inches in length. These are designed specifically to work with the 2.5-inch lift height, providing optimal sway bar positioning for on-road stability and off-road articulation

I have a 2017 jk unlimited. If installing this lift kit, what tire size would be an option with this? And if need new rims, what specs. Thanks!

35" diameter tires on wheels with 5.2" or less back space should fit nicely with the amount of lift. Thanks for your inquiry.
Joshua B.
Will this work with the stock wheels?

Yes, it will as long as the size tire chosen is not too wide for full lock turning clearance. 33" and larger should use offset spacers if on factory wheels. Thanks for your inquiry.

Do I need to get geometry correction brackets

They are not required but they will improve ride quality and characteristics. Thanks for your inquiry.
