Definitely recommended for short or long drives. The drop to rest your forearm or elbow is a bit much coupled with the hard surface. A bit of comfort is appreciated once in a while.

I would really feel uncomfortable without this armrest, this is my second one in 10 years. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find a replacement but quadratic came through and saved the day
