Perfect for driving with the doors off.

I'm pretty pleased with this purchase. Despite the reviews I was certain these were going to shift a bit while driving but they stayed in place for the entirely of a six hour doors-off outing that included some highway driving.

They do vibrate so I doubt I'll be able to make out any license plate numbers in the mirror at speed, but they still serve their function well enough to be useful and not just keep you legal.

Would recommend and buy again.

There is vibration in the mirrors while driving, but not so much that I can't see behind me. I've had no slippage problems, even driving 80mph. I do have 2 complaints. One is I have to do the work of installing/uninstalling every time. Boo Hoo, the mirrors are 1/5 the price of the automatic movers. Second, there's an annoying wind whistle even at lower speeds (40?). It comes from the ribs around the rubber trim around both mirrors. Electrical tape worked to stop the noise but had to be redone every time we went out. My permanent fix was to use a razorblade to trim down the 2 ribs. Only took a few minutes, doesn't look quite as nice but it's not like anyone will notice, and the whistle is now gone.

Quadratec continues to exceed my expectations. I ordered some items online and they ended up shipping the same day and I received them the next day which was 2 days ahead of schedule!!
