Reviews for Quadratec Adventure Mirrors for 76-25 Jeep Wrangler JL, JK, TJ, YJ, CJ & Gladiator JT
Installation was quick and thay look factory.
Kinda shakes a bit while moving down the road. There is a whistling noise that was not there before, not a big deal but noticable.
Over all I like 'em, beats not having any mirrors at all.
Need with doors off
I expected them to shake a little and they do. However, they do what I needed them to do. Even though there is some shake I can see behind me. Did a ride yesterday so I had the doors off for about 4 hours. They stayed in place until the end but that was because the weather was very windy. The only thing is the whistling sound they make. I'm going to try to find some stretchy mirror covers to see if that will cut down on the whistling I've also seen other jeepers say they used silicone to cut down on the whistling. If the stereo is turned up its not an issue.
Inexpensive choice for mirrors when doors are off
Cheap and look good.
They look simple
They fit in the cargo compartment with plenty of room to spare. there is no possible way you can get these to stay in the position you want them to be in. That being said, I guess most people only use them to stay street legal anyways. They are well-made, they just aren't real mirrors so they can't possibly hold up against the vibrations. Probably the best you can get without spending more than 150$.
Look cool
I thought I was going to ruin the nylon washers when I tightened the nuts enough to keep the mirrors from moving, but they held the mirrors in place at 65 mph and no visible damage to the washers when I took them off.
Easy install and are nostalgic of my old CJ, perfect on days I run without doors of any kind.
