Reviews for US Speedo Daytona Edition Gauge Face Kit for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Installation is actually easier than you'd thing. If, like me, you're a wreck-it Ralph, just remember to take your time, and work where you have plenty of light. As I age, I've gotten smarter and called tech support at step 3. Glad I did. Instructions were not for my vehicle. Tech was SUPER knowledgeable and walked me through it on the phone. Called back when it was needle time and he (same guy) was great then, too. Love the look. If you break out in a sweat an any tool more "tool-y" than a ratchet, you're fine. Just go easy on the tabs that hold the gauge cluster layers together (lens, face, unit), they WILL break. Take your time, take her easy, get her done, then have a bevvy. Totally worth it. Again, LOVE the look (gray day and my pictures didn't come out well or I'd show you).
Looks great and much easier to read in daytime in a black interior than stock.
The installation instructions say getting the clips on the cluster to release can be tricky. If you start with the clear lens clips first they are easier to get started and makes the others easy.
Very easy to install, took less than half an hour. The one thing I didn't like about the Jeep when I bought it was the black gauge faces. Even in broad daylight I had a hard time seeing them at times. This is a huge improvement. If you have the black interior, I can't recommend this enough.
Love it!!! It looks awesome in my Jeep!! Install was super easy!!!
Looks good. If I could give it 4.8 stars I would. Received it quickly (within 5 days). Easy to install but as others mentioned, watch the youtube video. I actually had to install it twice because the first time, the needles on the speedometer was sticky and moving in 3 mph chunks and the tachometer needle wasn't moving at all. Likely my fault as these needles are finicky and you have to be pretty precise with them when reinstalling. Quick advice: plug in gauges and take vehicle for test drive. Make sure everything works. Other issue is my speedometer needle sits about 2 mph under the 0 when off. No matter what I did, I couldn't line it up as it should be. Again, probably my fault. All in all, I took it apart, installed and re assembled everything twice in about an hour. About to order another one for my wife's jeep
Easy install. There is a great video on YouTube. Took about 20 min. Love the new look. Just took over a month to get only reason for 4 stars
fit well. easy to install. had a issue with gauges sticking. May be installer error. Looks nice and easy to read
