Reviews for Quadratec Automatic Billet Aluminum Mirror Movers for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
These are great. They do shake more than the OEM mirrors at freeway speeds, but generally not enough to cause a problem. They’re by far the best mirror option I’ve found when the doors are off. When installing, I had no intention of ever going back to OEM, so I just cut and capped the OEM wires instead of removing the door panel and that worked fine. Also, instead of routing across the engine bay then back across the cabin, I cut the passenger’s side electrical connector and fed the wires through the passenger’s side firewall through the foam-filled hole behind the dash side panel. I then cut out several feet of the wires and spliced the plug back on. That worked great and the routing is much simpler, with less clutter in the engine bay.
If you want the best mirror relocation solution out there, this is it. It’s an expensive option but it’s worth it for the safety of having actual usable mirrors when your doors are off.
WOW! I only gave a 5 star because I was limited. After putting this on my 2012 Sahara, I want to log onto the Jeep website and downgrade my star rating for the Jeep itself. This is a MUST for all who remove doors. All other attachable mirrors are a pain and I have had several that damaged my Jeep. This should have been a factory installed, but lets face it mopar cannot make anything this good.
Best product I have purchased hands down
First thing I bought for my jeep and they are fantastic. Clear vision out of passenger mirror other replacement kits fail to figure out. Very simple install, and I couldn’t be happier.
one of the best thing I have done.
I've had these on for a year and for half of it, I forgot I even swapped mirrors. Does the mirror glass have a bit of wobble, sure. Not enough for the headache to swap the oem's into the moving arms. Reflected image is good enough to see my blind spots, and it's cool how it retains the oem fold-in feature. My only gripe is a dig on me. I keep losing the Allen key tools to hold them open in the abyss of my glove box. Would be cool if there was a hold open release button built in, but for the cost, I'll keep on digging in the glove box. Maybe I'll make a keychain tool or something...
Love these newer mirrors, perfect fit, easy to install too.
Mirrors are awesome. They built a new JL and didn’t think to incorporate this idea? The driver side heater didn’t work. One call to customer service and I had a replacement in 2 days. Now that’s what I call service!! That’s not the 1st time
helping me out either. What a great company!
Great product. A little pricey, but in my opinion, is the best solution to the doors off/need mirrors conundrum. Great customer service, too. I got a pair through a secret Santa thing at my Jeep club, and had a minor issue with them a little over a year later, and Quadratec still honored the warranty for me and replaced my mirrors even though I had no receipt. Thanks guys!
Love these best thing I have bought
