I upgraded my OEM breaks to the Power Stop breaks because I have bigger tires on my Jeep. The OEM breaks were fine around town but really struggled in the mountains. After some research I decided to go with Power Stop. I watched several You Tube videos on how to install these breaks as no instructions were provided. Had some issues getting the new pads into the calipers but eventually they went in. After everything was put back together I seasoned the breaks as recommended by others who installed this system. I noticed the breaks were now very squishy so I bleed the break system and tried them again. Still no difference. I went to the auto parts store to get more break fluid and the tech said sometimes a air bubble will get stuck in the ABS system and to get it out the ABS has to be activated. I drove down a dirt road and activated the ABS and replaced the break fluid. Still no difference. Today the Jeep is in the shop at the dealership getting the breaks fixed. I'm not sure why I ran into this issue but I did read some others had the same issue. Everything points to air in the system but after 3 large bottles of break fluid it seems the air would be gone.

Where to begin, well I’d have to say that these are probably worse than stock pads and rotors. Swapped them out and feel like the stopping distance has increased. They perform horribly cold. These need to warm up quite a bit before they start reacting like cold stock rotors. Yes, they look nice, I’ll give them, but performance wise, terrible. Unfortunately I mounted them already and now I can’t return them, or else I would. I would not recommend these.

This is the only time I've had clips get loose on brake pads several times and make loud metal on metal scraping noises. Very annoying and unbearable to deal with when the top is off.

These brakes are loud and make constant noise embarrassing to drive i took completely apart cleaned the minute dust gets on them noises are back braking slightly better would not buy again
