No, this is a drop-in upgrade for the stock steering gear.

What is the difference between box1 and box2, and do I need to change the steering pump with this two steering box ? I need this information to confirm my order, thank you
The Super Box 1 is made for off-road and has a better gearing ratio, the Super Box 2 would be better for highway steering. In either case it is recommended that a stronger pump is used.

Hi which is the difference between Super Box 1 High Performance Steering Box and Super Box 2 High Performance Steering Box.
Are both bolt on or need some other parts to buy?

The Super Box 1 is better for offroad applications and has a 16:1 turn ratio (factory ratio is 20:1). While the Super Box 2 is for the daily driver and Jeeps that spend a lot of time on the highway and has a variable turning ratio.

Super Box 1 IS -16:1 Turn Ratio. -3 1/2 turns compared to 4 1/8
