Description
Engine not starting or are you constantly stalling out your Jeep YJ? Most likely your fuel pump or sending unit is failing. Crown Automotive offers a replacement Fuel Pump and Sending Unit Assembly to be a direct replacement on your Jeep. This sending unit comes pre-assembled with the pump, filter screen and wiring harness. You will need to re-use your old hardware and be sure to get a new gasket which is available separate (Gasket # 52127833).

I put this Part number in my 93' with a 4.0 Sept 30 2023 and its been fine up to 2025. I was at 183,000 miles and am now at 194,800. What I did/do on all these is cut out the stock rubber hose and replace it with GATES Submersible Fuel Line Hose. It's expensive for a 12" length at ~$40-50 but it's designed for it . Its also key to remember to use actual Fuel Injection hose clamps not the standard bands which draw in the notched portion. FI Clamps apply even pressure all the way around the hose. Anyways that's just about all I have to say about that. Good Luck.

What is the gpm and psi of this pump assembly?
The Crown Automotive 5003861AA fuel pump assembly has a pressure output of approximately 48 PSI and a flow rate of roughly 0.396 GPM.
Will this pump work with a Holley sniper fuel infection kit? Do you know what the fuel pressure is with this pump? Thanks
No, it will not. This is a stock sending unit for YJ equipped with 20 Gallon tank. A Holley Sniper is for CJ and the fuel sender required for it is in the following link. Fuel Pump Module for Sniper Thanks for your inquiry.
