Reviews for Quadratec Delrin Replacement Door Hinge Bushings for 07-24 Jeep Wrangler JK & JL 4 Door
Stay away from these. After reading the reviews thought they would be ok...wrong. before replacing I cleaned everything with a wire brush and a dremel...spayed fluid film in the bushings seated the doors they went in a little tight ...but to late I could not remove them...one door wont seat properly. Now I'm afraid I'll never get the doors off again...even called a buddy to help me get the doors back off....tried all the tricks but they now wont budge...at my wits end on how to get them off...paid $60 dollars for a fix that now won't let take the doors off...if you buy these drill them out a bit so they fit sloppy I gues
Beware! When Installed these will cause your doors to sit slightly higher than the stock bushings (I installed them perfectly). One of my doors really has to be slammed hard, and makes an aweful noise as the latch no longer aligns with the receiver. All the doors have to be slammed harder. Also, the bolts for your doors will rub the paint off the bottom of the receivers because now they sit higher as well, and they will rust. Quadratec agreed to refund my money, but I had already thrown my Mopar bushings away, so had to buy replacements that were more expensive than these Delrin bushings. Overall I am out $95 for the bushings and $15 for touchup paint. Real bummer as my Jeep is a 2017 and the bushings were in good shape- just trying to prevent the inevitable corrosion that takes place up north. Read the other reviews carefully- others have had the same problems.
Would not even fit my 2012 jk. Bushings way to large for door hinge. Waste of cash
Attempted to install on a 2013 Wrangler. Top bushing piece (Only piece visible once installed) is too thick. It is causing door alignment issues with the hard top and door striker plate and the door pin bolt will not fully tighten. Not sure if it will wear down with time or not.
