Installed this on my Garvin Cargo rack. The wind noise from the rack was very loud. After installing this, the wind noise was almost non-existent.

Works well to diminish the wind noise.

Well worth the money. I was skeptical that it would work as well as other reviews stated but was out of options so I took a chance and purchased the 29960 version. The reduction in wind noise was significant and more than justified the price.

Dear Quadratec (and Garvin), i bought this wind deflector to aprove some less noise. Before mounting on my expedition rack i checked dB on the highway with a dB tool. It gave in winter and high wind approx 120dB. Then i mounted the wind deflector and again drove the same route and measured again. I measured now about 115 dB. But strong wind could made the difference. But what i really noticed after installation, the floating noise along the expedition rack is totally gone. That is enough for me. Now i heared more the wind on de Jeep front and windscreen than any noise from the expedition rack. In summertime i am qurious what the noise will be, cause there is less wind here in the Netherlands. Thanks Quadratec for selling me and sending me, Garvin thanks for making ;-) Jeep greetings. Very easy to install. Certainly improves wind noise, however your soft top (or Sunrider for Hardtop in my case) will still flap a lot when on the highway unless you crack a window open to equalise.

Excellent quality and instructions, packaged perfectly, and hardware even came with 1 extra of everything.

Greatly reduced wind noise

Took forever to ship and when it came it was missing 2 support brackets. also ordered the garvin rack it was also missing 2 bolts. this was 2 weeks ago and still no replacement. I question Quadratec and Garmin customer service. I have over the years ordered a lot from Quadratec.
But I think I am going to a different company from now on. still no parts
