Great up grade

This steering box is big and heavy. It was a pretty straight forward installation.

Night & day difference from the Delphi factory steering box. When I went with a lift and 35” tires within 4 months I blew the seals. Fluid everywhere.

I installed this along with the PSC high performance pump kit. Even when off road it steers effortlessly like a Cadillac going down a smooth road.

Definitely more torque, much easier to steer when locked or stationary. I have 37” krawlers on a JKUR. There is a dead spot, or slack at dead zero though. Not a big deal but not like stock in that respect. As tie rod ends wear though this may be an issue.

If you want to use this on a lifted vehicle you need to invert the drag bar because a drop pitman arm is not available. If this was noted it would have made the install a lot smoother.

Hugh deadspot at top. At first I thought it wouldn't be a big deal, but after trying to drive on a winding road headed to Ouray today, I thought I was going to go into a guard rail once, and thought I was going to go head on with a semi truck. Not a fun day.
