Reviews for Quadratec LED Tail Lights for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Just installed these on my 2007 JKU. Taillights work fine however I'm getting a hyper flash when using signals. How do I fix this? I just purchased the same taillights for my father's 2014 JKU and he's no problems at all. May have to return them unfortunately...
They look good and work. The only problem is that the turn signals flash fast. The capacitor that comes pre- installed to keep this from happening is not doing it. Waiting for instructions on how to correct this.
When installing, just know that anything beyond snug when torquing the screws will crack the lens. They are much more fragile than the factory lights. I cracked both when installing trying to firm them up against the body.
Very nice looking lights. Unfortunately the lens on them are extremely fragile. When I was installing one of them I noticed a corner of the light broken. Not sure if it broke during the install or was already broke. Make sure you inspect yours very carefully before the install and be extremely careful tightening the screws. They do not sell just a lens for this, you have to buy a whole light. That's crazy!!!
Only two years old and I lost the middle row led section on right taillight. For the price I would not recommend, LEDs should last much longer than this.
The lights are nice and bright looking but you can't fully fasten them to the body. The recess for the screw head is narrower than the actual screw head. If you fully torque down the plastic will crack on the lense across the corner. The alternative appears to be to not fully fasten the light to the body and have a gap between the two.
