The zippers keep breaking, the top is too tight, needs a few inches more on rear window. even after being in the sun all day before installing. Quadratec replaced both the rear and side window with fast shipment While installing the top the passenger side window broke again. Love the open air feature. Just trying to figure out a way to keep the zippers from breaking.

Per the installation recommendation I let the top lay out in the sun for several hours before installation. Despite following the instructions step by step and having two helpers, the installation process was immensely frustrating and involved a trip to the store for a torque wrench that was not included in the kit. The installation started out simple, but getting the canvas on required a few hours of tugging and ultimately ended with a bunch of half-zipped zippers. After a few weeks of the top being installed I still had to have help closing the zippers as it took a LOT of grip strength to finish. At this point I was pretty happy with the top as the sun top feature is fun and easy to use and I imagined after a few months the top would stretch out a little bit. After about two months I took the back panels out for the first time and discovered that the passenger side zipper and both back zippers were already splitting and some pieces of the zipper came off as I unzipped them. At this point (about 4 months in) the back panel zippers are not even close to reaching and the panel is just being held by the velcro which barely overlaps the edges. I do not ever roll up the back panel because the bar that runs across the bottom is hard to get out while the side panels are still on, which also makes it difficult to put things in my trunk. I did not put this bar back on correctly one time which caused water to leak into my car and start to rust the car jack that came with the Jeep. Consequently, I do not take the inserts out nearly as much as I would like to because putting them back in frustrates me nearly to tears every time and everyone in my family refuses to help me with them anymore. The only thing that I enjoy about this top is the sun top feature which I use just about every day.

I wanted to love this top. It looks great and offers the type of instant flexibility that is perfect for the summer. Installation is pretty straightforward if you follow the instructions. The ability to go from covered to the top-open configuration takes about two seconds. I would suggest using Velcro straps to cinch the support bars to the roll bar. It kept trying to popup while driving down the road. That's about all the good news I can share - now the bad news. It fits tight. Too tight. Can't zip the back window in properly which caused the zipper to split the first time I took it off and put it back on. Same thing on the side windows. Also, if you roll up the back window when it is hot, the straps that hold it up will cause the window to warp and leave a distortion line for your viewing pleasure. Finally, I wasn't prepared for the increased wind noise. Going from a hard top to this was a significant difference. I expected some differences but didn't expect it would be as pronounced. It is the difference between a "normal" conversation volume to a level that is "loud." Anyway - because it broke and wasn't a pleasure for me...I sent it back. This rating is for the product. If I could rate the customer service of Quadratec, they would get five stars across the board. Fast, courteous, friendly...I could go on. I felt like they truly cared about my experience and valued me as a customer.

Garbage, utter waste of money and time. Doesn't fit causing zipper to break under the strain. The back window wont zip in since there is an 1"-1 1/2" gap on both sides. Was put on a warm day and with the heater on full to try to remedy the tight fit. Would not recommend.

Purchased during cold weather months so had to wait until warmer weather to put on. At the time I purchased the top there was a video on installation, since removed I assume because the top design has changed, the side windows have the slide on tubes not zippers for connecting to the top(roof). These make it next to impossible to get the initial install of both windows often slip out of the tubes with the stretching attempt to attach to the Jeep bed rails. If I do get them on I will leave them on for the duration. I should have returned this item.

so here’s the deal… I’ve tried to contact Quadratec several times about this POS top. The original version of this is amazing. I bought it back in 2019. Through some minor wear and tear, I called to have it replaced because I had a warranty on it. All good until it took 6 months to get to me (ordered a replacement around the month of may, received the replacement in November/beginning of December) once the Texas spring started rolling around we decided to take it out of the box and let it sit in the sun for a day or two… as you should for a new top. We have questioned if this “updated version” that I received is even meant for my Jeep. Looking back at the manual and the confirmation order, unfortunately it is. It’s suppose to be a bowless top, it came with a bar made into the fabric. The top where it connects to the windshield doesn’t even fit FLUSH if you connect the roll bar pieces together. Hence why they are left disconnected in the pictures. The back tailgate bar is warped so we figured it would come back after being on for some time but NOPE, you can see daylight. We have called quadratec (was on hold for AN HOUR) and the customer service was rude and helpless. I’ve emailed multiple times and NO RESPONSE. We are taking our business somewhere else for the next top.

Apparently my experience doesn't match the other reviews. I purchased this top in August of 2018. Quadratec replaced Front Latch that broke under warranty. Of course they were not available from stock when it broke. Fortunately I was able to repair the latch(replaced a weak aluminum pin with a hardened steel pin). Good thing since the replacement took 6 weeks.
The seam split on the top in June of 2020. Quadratec promised to ship a new top (11113.9060). Countless emails and over a year passed, still no warranty replacement top (the leaking top was repaired with extreme amounts of tent repair).
On June 14, 2021, the zippers on the rear window failed. When talking with Quadratec, they indicated the Top has been redesigned and that they would send a complete new top. Sounded great to me.
Unfortunately the new tops are out of stock and not available for shipment. While checking their website for a new Top, they show the Top out of stock but available in 2 weeks. It has shown this with the dates moving weekly. Today (July 22) if you buy one, they will tell you its shipping on July 29.
I'm still waiting for the leaking to taken care of, let alone the zippers don't work.

The zippers are just horrible. I have been through several panels, and Quadratec replaced the entire top once. I have had it several years and at least one zipper breaks every summer. I am as careful as possible but I bought the top to be able to reconfigure at will, but the zippers fail with normal use.This year it was the driver side panel zipper that is attached to the main part of the top.

Zipper is not strong and breaks easily even with the lubrication and cleaning products used. Fit is terrible and windows are a pain to put back together. Over the cab is super pliable though. Massive rain catcher. Usually I have great luck with quadratec products but this one is a top to avoid. Put the same effort into this as you do with your other products. Terrible.

I have had this top for barely a year and the teeth on the window zipper started to fall off.
