First of all, the 4 mounting brackets on each side are excellent. The steps themselves are a different story. They are not actual tubing. They are completely open on the bottom side. Thus allowing everything to go inside of them, including salt, snow and everything else a Maine winter winter will throw in there. We’ll see how long they last.
