Jeeps are famous for their versatility, durability, and off-road capability. Unfortunately, they are not known for their sound systems. This becomes increasingly apparent when the top is down, especially with large aftermarket tires. Fill out what you are missing with the Alpine PSS-23WRA Full Sound System Upgrade. This 300 watt plug and play kit is specifically designed for the Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT. It includes a high performance 8” subwoofer with built in amplifier, a pair of 1” tweeters, and a four-channel amplifier to completely overhaul your factory sound system. The PSS-23WRA is compatible with both factory and aftermarket head units, and comes with all necessary brackets, hardware, and wiring harnesses. Since the factory speakers lack high and low-end frequency range, Alpine focused their efforts on a subwoofer and tweeters.
Installation Note: On 2-door Wranglers, the PSS-23WRA will fit 2019 and newer Jeeps ONLY. It is not compatible with two-door Wranglers that have scissor style seat brackets, so it will not fit the 2018 2-door Wrangler JL.
Upgrade from Factory: By adding additional low end and top end, the Alpine PSS-23WRA Full Sound System Upgrade completely transforms your Jeep’s factory sound system. Alpine uses amplifiers for both the subwoofer and factory speakers to completely revolutionize audio.
Jeep Specific Design: Alpine designed this kit to be completely plug-n-play for the four-door Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT. No drilling, cutting, or splicing is required. The included subwoofer/amplifier bracket bolts up directly to the passenger seat bolts. This kit is compatible with both factory and aftermarket head units.

Alpine PSS-23WRA Full Sound System Upgrade Reviews
It is better than stock but nowhere near $1300. Very underpowered and does not mix well with the knee speakers or the bar. I would not recommend it.
It’s not that much of an upgrade as far as sound goes but i can say that the install was a breeze
2019 JLUR owner with 7” stock uconnect system. Bought this after being told at a high end car stereo shop that the jeep would need $3500 worth of work to really sound good... I know this system is slightly overpriced- but there’s something to be said for the pre-built wiring harnesses, the bracket, and the simple ease of use and installation of this system. The bass is pretty good for such a compact sub, and the new tweeters are quite bright and sound quite nice. I look at it like this- I didn’t buy this jeep to put an audiophile system into it- I drive with the top open as often as I can and I really just wanted a little more volume and punch from the factory system with the added bass that a sub would provide. For those purposes this is literally the perfect system. I installed this in about an hour and if you follow the video quadratec provides it’s quite easy. Make sure to check the dip switches and the settings for the sub so that you don’t blow the sub or other speakers!
