How to replace digital battery?
Replacing the battery in the digital ARB E-Z Tire Deflator (Model ARB510 / ARB510A) is a quick process:
1. Peel Back the Rubber Guard: Step 1. Carefully pull the protective rubber housing/boot off from around the digital gauge module.
2. Open the Battery Compartment: Step 2. Locate the battery cover on the back of the digital gauge unit. Depending on the exact production batch, either use a small Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the tiny securing screw or slide/twist the compartment lid open.
3. Replace the Batteries: Step 3. Take out the old batteries and insert two new AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the alignment diagram inside the housing.
4. Reassemble: Step 4. Snap or screw the battery cover securely back into place, then stretch the rubber protective boot back over the gauge body.
