The heavy-duty steel Carnivore Bumpers look fabulous with a durable textured powder coat painted steel that is precision cut and robotically welded for a quality, strong finish. It is a direct bolt-on installation that doesn’t require drilling or modification. The unique styling of the mesh stone guards provides a great way to personalize your bumper. These removable mesh guards can be repainted to match your accent color with just a little preparation. On the mid-width and full-size bumpers, there are mounts for lighting behind the mesh stone guards to create even further personalization.
Speaking of lighting. In addition to the mesh stone guards, guards on the mid- and full-width bumpers, there are integrated fog light holes and 3" cube light holes that accepts the factory fog lights or auxiliary cube lights. The removable, stylish over-rider bar is slotted across the top for use with auxiliary lighting including light bars or cubes to illuminate the entire trail for better visibility in dark conditions.
Recovery is not an after-thought with the Carnivore Bumpers. The bumpers are winch ready and engineered with a standard winch mount plate and integrated fairlead mount. This will fit most winches up to 12,000 lbs and help get you or your friends out of the stickiest of situations. The Carnivore bumpers feature two reinforced tow hook mounts that double as a D shackle mounting locations. This provides plenty of options for recovery points and rescue.

Carnivore Front Bumper Reviews
Got front full width and rear Carnivore bumpers for my 2018 Wrangler JL with the integrated winch mount. Supplied fog light screws didn’t fit the holes. had to drill them out and use a 8/32 tap to cut proper size threads. Winch needs to be mounted before the fog lights . I would suggest getting a second set of hands and mount the winch and fog lights before installing the bumper . Bumpers feel solid and look great.
I’ve had the Carnivore front bumper on my Jeep for a while now, and it’s one of those mods that just completely changed the look of the front end. It gives the Jeep a much more aggressive, finished look without feeling overly bulky.
But it’s not just about looks. This thing is built for the trail, with a heavy-duty steel construction, integrated winch mount, reinforced tow hooks, and built-in shackle mounts. It gives me a lot more confidence knowing the recovery points are actually ready to be used when I need them.
And I love having options for lighting too. There are mounting points for the factory fog lights, and cube lights.
Overall, it’s one of those upgrades that gives my Jeep the look I wanted while still being genuinely functional. And honestly… I’m a big fan of anything that looks good and has a reason to be there.

Questions
Since a standard US license plate is 12 inches wide, you will easily be able to mount a standard front license plate centered on the winch plate or fairlead mount without covering any part of the fog light openings.
The good news is that you have a few excellent options to protect that vulnerable motor on your 2026 Rubicon:
1. Reuse Your Factory Rubicon Skid Plate
Fitment: It is often a direct bolt-on or requires very minor "notching" (trimming about 1") to clear the new bumper's lower brackets.
Pros: It’s free since you already own it, and it provides heavy-duty protection.
2. Quadratec Aluminum Modular Front Sway Bar Skid Plate
Design: Made from high-strength 5052 aluminum, so it won't rust and adds very little weight to your front end.
Coverage: It is specifically designed to conceal the unsightly crash bar and protect the electronic sway bar motor.
Installation: 100% bolt-on with no drilling required.
3. DV8 Offroad Sway Bar Disconnect Skid Plate (SPJL-02)
Features: It features vented steel plates to ensure proper airflow to your engine bay while still providing a shield against rocks.
Finish: It comes in a micro-texture black powder coat that matches the Carnivore's finish very closely.
The Rugcel 13,500 is a "large body" winch (approx. 21" long). The Carnivore bumper has an open-top design, so side-to-side clearance is generally excellent. The Carnivore bumper comes with a removable overrider hoop. On larger winches like the EMCP 13500, the solenoid/control box (the part where the wires plug in) is often very tall. If your Rugcel has a top-mounted control box, it may sit very close to or slightly interfere with the overrider bar. You may need to mount the control box to the side or leave the overrider bar off. Also to note, Carnivore bumpers are designed for Hawse Fairleads (flat plates). If your Rugcel came with a large Roller Fairlead, it might protrude significantly; a Hawse fairlead is recommended for a cleaner fit.
