Complete with state-of-the-art TIR optics for a precisely focused beam pattern and optimal lighting efficiency. Non-TIR optics can decrease light output by as much as 10% as the beam passes through an outer lens. Custom-molded TIR optics featured in the SS3-series LED pod works as both the main lens and the optic. What this does is provide an increase in output while simultaneously making this pod more efficient. The Driving beam works great with your factory high beams. This light is not SAE approved to be turned on while operating on a roadway but is perfect for lighting the trail ahead of you while cruising at speed. Perfect for gravel, dirt, sand, and other higher-speed trails. The elite Luxeon Z ES LED chips draw a total of 38.5-watts per pod and have an operating range of 9-16V.

The housing is made from durable, powder-coated aluminum that's built to last. A nearly indestructible Polycarbonate lens can withstand almost anything you can throw at it! IP67 rated against water and dirt ingress and SAE J575 durability tested. Operating range of -40C to 85C (-40F to 185F). Passive Pin-Fin heatsinks offer optimal cooling. Available in either Standard, Round, or Angled versions. Includes a universal mounting bracket & Deutsch-style wire pigtail. Full wiring harness sold separately.
