Questions
CURTIS M.
Can the factory webbing be removed before installation? Is it easy to remove the factory webbing?

Yes, you can remove the factory webbing before installing the Fishbone Offroad Door Pocket MOLLE Panels—in fact, for the 2007–2018 Wrangler JK, removal is required.
Is it easy to remove?
Yes, it is very simple. The process is considered a "beginner" level modification and takes roughly 5–10 minutes per door.
How to remove the webbing:
Cut the Netting: Use a pair of heavy-duty scissors or a utility knife to cut the elastic netting as close to the plastic frame as possible.
Pull the Remnants: Once the main net is gone, use needle-nose pliers to pull any remaining fibers or elastic strands out from the groove in the plastic trim for a cleaner look.
Clean the Channel: Wipe the area down to ensure no debris is trapped before snapping the new steel MOLLE panel into place.
