Description
Getting your license plate out of harm's way for JL Wranglers seeking off-road adventure has never been easier than with GP Factor’s License Plate Relocation Kit. Constructed from stainless steel for strength and durability, brackets are laser cut then powder-coated for a clean finished look. Everything is included to mount your license plate to your spare tire away from the damage-prone factory location. An included bracket allows your original third brake light to be relocated if you are running significantly larger off-road tires. Also with included extended lug mounts that work with all wheels, factory or aftermarket, regardless of backspace or offset. A durable stainless hood also protects your factory backup camera that is easily relocated. Fully DOT compliant, this kit features an LED license plate light with included prewired weather pack connector and 6ft of wiring for an easy install. Choose between Black or Stainless finishes.

Worked as designed! Looks great with the new Bumper. Very easy installed. Just one thing put a piece of Velcro on the back of the license plate before you install it so I won’t make noise when you close the tailgate or on the trail. It does mean you need more tools with you when you go off road if you need your spare tire. Better than putting it on the bumper just to get ripped off.

What size thread are the M14 extended lug nuts? I have an aftermarket spare tire carrier & it uses a 19mm socket. The lugs are smaller than the OEM lugs on the road wheels which use a 22mm socket.
Extended lugs nuts we include in the kit currently have a M14 thread for the JLs and on the other end are 1/2-20 thread for the mounting screws and that end uses a 3/4" wrench (I guess the closest Metric is M19). Thansk for your inquiry.
