This Mopar Hitch Receiver Wiring Harness is specially designed for the 2018-24 Jeep Wrangler JL and includes everything needed to install a 7 and 4 way combination plug. It's factory parts
This took some work to install but works just fine in my 4xe. You will need a Tazer to configure the tow package in the software or have the dealer do it, ouch and cha-ching.
Questions
The Blue Wire: The Mopar 7-way and 4-way harness kit (82216359AA) integrates lighting and power functions at the rear bumper via a specialized module and harness, but it does not include a pre-run brake output (blue) wire leading up to the dash for a traditional hardwired proportional brake controller. If you are towing a trailer equipped with electric brakes, you will still need to run a dedicated blue wire from the rear plug forward to the driver's compartment.
Under-Dash Plug: For Jeep Wranglers that did not come with the factory Trailer Tow / Heavy Duty Electrical Group package, the plug/connector for a trailer brake controller is not pre-wired under the dash. Jeeps built without the factory tow package lack the under-dash plug and the main feed wiring, which is why aftermarket installations typically require running a standalone line or utilizing a wireless brake controller to bypass the need for running physical wires through the firewall.
