Mopar 2" Lift Kit Reviews
Which was just perfect, the fit, everything is impeccable, and on top of that it's comfortable, much less stiff than the AEV 2.5 for example.
Installed on a 2025 wrangler that has Autolynx disconnects in the front. Holy cow! The ride difference is night and day, no more shock fade, and I don’t need to slow down nearly as much in the trails now. Ride feels very similar to stock on road and a billion times better off road. 2” is a lot of lift and I now have to hop into the jeep as I’m vertically challenged. Install wasn’t too bad and paper instructions were included.
Fit and finish was perfect. Instructions were clear. I was expecting a 2 inch lift, but this is closer to 3.5 inches.
Questions

The confusion regarding the 2024+ compatibility comes down to a minor hardware change Jeep made to the front sway bar link mounting bolts:
2018–2023 models use a 12mm bolt for the sway bar links.
2024–2026 models were upgraded to a larger 14mm bolt.
Which Mopar Kit to Buy:
If you choose the Bilstein Shock Kit: This is the newer version designed by Mopar to accommodate all JL years. It will work perfectly. The Mopar Bilstein kits are packaged with both 12mm and 14mm sway bar link hardware, making them a direct bolt-on for your 2025 Sport 2-Door.
If you choose the FOX Shock Kit: This version was originally packaged for 2018–2023 models and only includes 12mm hardware. You can still run it, but you will have to either drill out the sleeve on the included sway bar links to fit your factory 14mm bolts, or purchase separate 2024+ aftermarket extended sway bar links.
Pro-Tip for Your Base Sport: Since you have a 2-Door Sport (which is lighter than a 4-Door or a Rubicon), you will likely net closer to 2.5" to 3" of actual lift out of this kit once installed, as Mopar rates the 2" height increase based on fully loaded, heavier vehicles.

Here is why upgrading an Xtreme Recon (XR) package JL with the Mopar 2" lift kit is usually a lateral move:
1. Minimal Gain in Ride HeightWranglers equipped with the factory Xtreme Recon/Xtreme 35 package already come from the manufacturer with a 1.5-inch suspension lift to accommodate the factory 35-inch tires. Because the Mopar 2" lift kit is rated against a standard, non-lifted JL, installing it on an XR model will only net you about 0.5 inches of additional lift over your current height.
2. Redundant UpgradesYou would be paying for a complete kit—including new springs, longer shocks, and longer front lower control arms—to replace components that are already upgraded, high-performance factory parts designed specifically for the XR package's geometry.
3. The 2024+ Hardware IssueBecause the Jeep is a 2025 model, it uses the upgraded 14mm front sway bar link bolts (pre-2024 models used 12mm bolts). If you do decide to proceed with the installation, you must purchase the newer version of the Mopar lift kit featuring Bilstein shocks, as it includes the necessary 14mm hardware. The older version of the kit with FOX shocks only includes 12mm hardware and will not bolt up without modification.
Better Alternative: If you own an Xtreme Recon Jeep and want more ground clearance or plan to move up to 37-inch tires, you are much better off looking at a high-quality aftermarket 2.5-inch or 3-inch suspension lift kit. This will give you a noticeable increase in height over the factory XR suspension and deliver a much better return on your investment.

For 3.6L V6 Engine: The individual replacement rear shock is Mopar Part #68417507AA.
For 2.0L Turbo Engine: The individual replacement rear shock is Mopar Part #68417511AA.
