Mopar Replacement Soft Top Deck Reviews
Item sold separately vice whole assembly
Had the top professionally installed by a Jeep specialty shop and it doesn’t fit properly. The last section is loose and flaps. The side and rear windows have a slight sag in them and the flapping of the top causes the latch and hardware to rattle. Went back to the shop to have it checked and they disassembled and reassembled it and same problem. It’s almost as if the fabric is about an inch or so too long on the last section.
Questions

Regarding how it attaches to the cross braces:
Bow/Cross Brace Attachment: Unlike some aftermarket tops that rely entirely on adhesive straps or tape that can degrade or unglue in high heat, the factory Mopar soft top deck utilizes a combination of factory retention clips, factory screws/fasteners, and fitted sleeves/channels built into the fabric that slide over or screw directly into the cross-bow frame structure.
Sealing and Tension: Once secured to the bows, the deck tucks into the factory body tubs, corner retainers, and header channel just like the original top to maintain proper tension and weather resistance.
If your current fabric has separated from the braces due to adhesive failure, replacing just the deck skin with a fresh Mopar Replacement Soft Top Deck will restore a secure, proper fit to your factory frame without needing to buy a whole new assembly.<

Step-by-Step Installation Guide:
Attach the Sport Bar Brackets First:
Locate the designated sport bar (roll bar) brackets (marked left and right, with directional "up" indicators and locating pins).
Remove the factory plastic trim piece over the rear sport bar by firmly pulling it toward the center of the vehicle.
Secure the sport bar brackets to the factory threaded holes using the provided Torx bolts (typically T40). The locating pins will ensure they sit in the exact correct orientation.
Mount the Lower Frame Arms:
Uncrate or position the soft top assembly onto the rear of the tub.
Take the lower frame arms and mount them directly into the newly installed sport bar brackets, fastening them using the supplied T40 bolts.
Position and Engage the Roller Brackets (Upper Arms):
Take the upper frame bow arms, which feature the roller mechanism designed to slide along the track.
Locate the locking tab on the roller assembly. Pull or push this locking tab back/open to release the internal catch.
Slide the roller assembly cleanly into the channel track/bracket slot on the rear door surround or upper frame guide.
Once fully seated in the track, release the locking tab so it snaps securely into place, locking the roller into the guide track.
Finalize and Test Movement:
Repeat the process for the opposite side.
Release any transport straps or secondary locks on the main header latches, apply gentle downward/forward pressure to test the folding mechanism, and verify that the rollers glide smoothly back and forth along the track without binding.
