Description
The Crawler Front Bumper by Poison Spyder matches upgraded styling with exceptional off-road performance for the Wrangler JL vehicle. This bumper is manufactured from high strength 3/16" plate steel and special tooling provides the signature large-radius bends and features. The grille width hoop bar is modeled after the original Rock Brawler style, and provides extra strong protection for the front of the Jeep. The integrated winch mount is ready to go, just choose your winch, install it and hit the trail! The built in recessed fog lamp mounts are made to accept factory or equivalent style fog lights. The bumper also features welded on extreme recovery shackle mounts that are designed to fit any standard 3/4" D-Rings. To finish off the bumper is Poison Spyder's Spydershell Armor Coat. This 6 stage finishing system is state of the art, and will provide years of unmatched protection and great looks!

Maximum Protection: Protecting the front of the Wrangler JL is no problem with the Crawler Front Bumper. It is extremely heavy duty and built to last through any on or off roading adventure and will look good in any situation. The 3/16" plate steel construction ensures the highest quality in protection. The added Brawler Bar style grille guard is made from .120" wall tubing that is 1.75" in diameter. This will protect the grille and winch properly, and adds an aggressive style that Wrangler JL owners demand.

Trail Ready: The built in winch mount is designed to accept any standard 10 x 4 1/4" winch mounting pattern for today's most popular winch brands. Just choose your winch and you are ready to go. Also integrated into the bumper are the extreme shackle mount tabs that will accept any standard 3/4" D-Rings for recovery purposes. The recessed fog lamp mounts will allow the factory fog lights to be relocated easily into the Crawler Bumper.

SypderShell Armor Coat: The bumper is finished in Poison Spyder's proprietary SpyderShell Armor Coating, that is a 6 stage finishing process designed to provide the best possible adhesion for the finish that will prevent any premature corrosion. The prep, application, materials and packaging are second to none and ensure that the Crawler Bumper will stay looking great on the Wrangler JL for years!

My order arrived 8 months after I placed it, so if you’re ready to pull the trigger have plenty of patience. The skid plate was in perfect condition and I only found one very minor defect on the bumper which can be corrected with a drop of touch-up paint. Removal of the factory bumper took the most time and the installation of the Poison Spyder bumper took longer than necessary only because of a single bolt that wasn’t welded to match the frame holes. I had to drill out the hole on the frame and would’ve been easier if I’d had the right bit. Overall, the bumper is fantastic and it looks great. The polished finish exceeds every bumper I looked at and the heavy gauge steel provides a lot of security to the front end. I didn’t factor in the wait time or the support from Poison Spyder into my 4 star rating. Since this was a direct-ship from them, I had contacted them on several occasions about the order and only received vague responses. The Quadratec team was very helpful. I removed 1 star only because of the single bolt issue. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase.

Questions

Which version of the fog lights work with this bumper? I have a 21 Rubicon with plastic halogen fog lights, but I would like to order a set of LED fog lights to install with the bumper.
LED fogs for use with any of the plastic Mopar bumper groups will fit. Like our Quadratec LED fog lamp set. 97109.0012 Quadratec LED Fog Lamps The LED with a 2 bolt bracket found on metal Rubicon bumpers will not directly mount. Thanks for your inquiry.
