We have designed the perfect off-road bumper for your Wrangler JL! The Quadratec QRC Front Winch Bumper is a fully welded one piece steel construction using 6 gauge steel plate and 2” diameter x .105” thick mandrel bent grill guard hoops. The aggressively styled QRC Bumpers bolt directly to the vehicle’s existing mounting points and feature fully integrated winch plates. There’s no drilling or modifications required. Our QRC Winch Bumpers are e-coated for corrosion resistance and finished with an attractive and durable black textured powder coating. Bumpers feature factory fog light provisions that reuse your factory fog lights & wiring harness. With a Full Width design you will be getting extra protection for both grill and fender guards. The QRC Stubby design provides addition tire clearance if needed as well as better approach angles. Additional features include grill guard light mount tabs and 1” thick D-Ring tabs for 3/4” D-Rings with 7/8” pins. D-Rings available separately. Will not accommodate the JL / JT factory Rubicon Steel Bumper Fog Lights.

Craftily engineered in a one-piece design and fully welded using 6-gauge steel plating with 2" x.105" thick mandrel bent tube corners that provide additional side protection. Retains factory license plate illuminators as well as factory red reflectors and built with a cut-out to maintain access to the driver-side tow hook. Additionally, contains a notch in the bottom center which perfectly fits with factory and aftermarket hitch systems. Includes all installation hardware and features a three-year limited warranty.

Quadratec QRC Front Winch Ready Bumper with Rear Bumper Reviews
Bumper install was fairly easy and the fit was accurate and solid. Installing the factory lighting into the bumper was a bit of a challenge however, especially with arthritic hands. The instructions call for a set of bolt-nut-washer assemblies fished into the mount which was difficult. I instead used self-tapping screws to mount the lights and then put a dab of super glue to keep them seated. I will just nee to check them periodically. Great bumper though... very heavy duty and the finish seems good quality. I am hoping it holds up to our Northern Wisconsin winters and road salt brine.
Also. if doing a winch, I suggest installing it on the bumper before installing the bumper on the Jeep. I did not as i did not have a helper to lift it (just forks on my tractor) and the clearances were very tight. I installed a Smittybilt winch and could not mount the control box in the center because the holes for the winch mount were not forward enough to keep the box out of the grill. No biggie, but something you should anticipate if going the same route. Mounting the control bow over the winch motor worked out fine instead.
