Description
Finding a spot to mount the CB antenna on your Jeep Wrangler JL or Gladiator JT is not a problem with the Quadratec Stainless Steel Fender Mount CB Antenna Kit. Conveniently mounted on the opposite side of the hood from the factory radio antenna for short easy access into the cab. The included 3 ft Super Flex Antenna is custom wound by Firestik specifically for Quadratec and pre-tuned to exactly match the fender mounted location. The antenna is super flexible so it will be harder to break on the trail.

Is this mount strong enough to handle a dual band 2m and 70cm Antenna? The antenna on a mag mount requires an xtra large mag to hold it

How do you get the coax from the fender mount into the Jeep’s interior? I have just bought a 2021 Wrangler Rubicon. I have already purchased this antenna and suggested cb radio from Quadratec. Thanks for any assistance that you can provide. Best regards, Fred R. Young
Typically, this is done through the firewall. There are plastic and rubber plugs in the firewall of nearly every vehicle. In some cases, there are unused ones that you can utilize and in other cases, there are some that are already being used but have room for additional use. There are also grommets in the floor that you can use. This may be easier than through the firewall, but it depends on what you are comfortable with. We do have a video of an Alpine upgrade that has our Video Host, Rob, going over how to do this. Here's a link that starts the video around 7:10 into it.
