I don't particularly like it wired directly to the battery as it give the possibility of leaving the lights on which one turn off with the ignition. Will try to wire into fuse box to have power shut off when the vehicle turns off
This relay box is the best thing I've bought in a long time. Run the wiring to the box and that's it. No fishing the wire into the cab and mounting switch banks. Keeps the cab near and uncluttered. Worth the investment in time saved alone.
Great concept, but the remote is too weak to transmit reliably through the firewall even though you’re only 3 feet from the main unit. It takes several attempts to turn lights off and on.
