Functional and Solid Protection: RSE Gen III Step Sliders are made specifically for the 2018 Wrangler JL 4 Door, and provide added rocker area protection in order to eliminate all types of side impact or trail damage.
Automatic Step With Deployment Option: When the Jeep's doors open, these steps automatically deploy from the sliders to provide a solid step that will drop down 12" below the Jeep. Steps can also be left fully extended with provided wiring and rocker switch. Step has a 3 Inch Stepping Surface.
Heavy Duty Engineering: Constructed from trail-tough 11-gauge laser-cut steel and finished off with a durable black textured powder coating, these RSE Step Sliders are designed to last in any driving conditions. Each step can support up to 650 lbs.

These Rock Slide Engineering Generation III Steps Sliders are specifically designed for the 2024 Wrangler JL 4 Door model, and offer a fully functional step that is actuated when the doors open and close. RSE utilizes 11-gauge steel for a super strong, protective and functional design, and then finishes off the product with a durable black textured powder coat for years of lasting performance. These steps automatically deploy when the doors are opened, extend a full 12" below the Jeep, and are perfect for lifted vehicles. Then, close the doors and the steps automatically retract to their original position. Should you wish to keep the steps in the retracted position, RSE also includes a rocker switch with wiring. Installation is easy, with no drilling or modifications to the Jeep. All necessary mounting hardware is included. Sold in pairs and features a three-year limited warranty.

Durability and functionality
Purchased these for wife's 2022 JL 392. I performed install and the provided instructions were enough to figure it all out. These things are great! Very well built and work every time. Love 'em. If I had to pick one thing I don't like, it would be they tend to remind my shins that they are deployed. I just gotta open my eyes.
Good product for getting in and out of Jeep. Good clean look when stowed, looks like factory option. Pretty easy install. Been using them for two months now without issue. Best Jeep mod so far as they are used every day and make the wife happy.
