Everything worked as described. My only gripe was kinda self inflicted. You have to grind the welds on the replacement part in order to get the bumper to fit over it. Unfortunately I didn't think to do that where the steering bracket bolted to the frame repair piece as well. So, there I was, part tacked into place and all the gearbox bolt holes were off, once I realized they were off by the thickness of the welds and I took it off and ground them down, it all came together. The instructions didn't say anything about grinding down the welds to make it fit, but that's kind of an implied thing if you're tackling a job like this.
Overall, it saved me a pile of time vs. trying to fabricobble something on my own.
So far a good fit
Like others have said, you have to grind the weld flat where the new piece mates to the front round crossmember tube (no big deal). The bottom weld nuts for the PS box bracket are not located correctly. This leaves a gap where the bracket should be touching the inside of the frame piece. I had to use flat washers as spacers to bridge the gap. Otherwise, it is a nice solid piece. I have used most of the other repair pieces on this YJ without any issues.
