Adding a new tire carrier & oversized tires can cause your tailgate to sag. The new Smittybilt XRC Tailgate with Tire Carrier replaces your existing tailgate while adding a built in tire carrier that can support up to a 37" tire. This tailgate is made from 14 gauge steel that is finished off with a protective light textured finish and uses the OE bolt configuration so no cutting or drilling is required for installation.

Fitment

Construction: Heavy duty 14 gauge steel with cast steel hinge points & 1" hardened steel pin to eliminate tailgate sag. Pre-drilled holes to allow factory handles & latch use.

Features: This tailgate features integrated tie down points along with roof access steps & a handy bottle opener to enjoy a beverage while you are camping out after a day on the trails. This is a direct bolt on application that comes with a third brake light and will work with Smittybilt or Factory bumpers, also can be used with the XRC Tire Carrier or Slant Tire Carrier Adapter.
