I have a 2025 JL Rubicon with the Xtreme package. I am planning to add a winch and some lights. Will this spacer change my geometry for alignment ? Will the winch change my geometry ? Is there a spacer for the rear to maintain the factory stance ?
Lastly I am very interested in the FOX 2.5 reservoir shocks that list a 2.5-4 inch lift can I run them on my Jeep with just the Xtreme factory lift which I think is 2 or less inch lift ? Or should I install the spacers ?
Will the 1/2" front spacer or winch change alignment geometry? No. A 1/2-inch spacer is too small to alter your steering or axle geometry, so a formal alignment correction isn't required. Adding a heavy front winch will compress the factory springs slightly under its weight, which actually lowers the front end back down closer to stock height rather than throwing off your alignment angles.
Is there a matching rear spacer? Yes, Teraflex offers a matching TeraFlex JL/JLU 0.5in Rear Spacer Load Level Kit (part #1155120) if you want to lift the rear as well to maintain your factory rake and stance.
Can you run 2.5–4 inch lift shocks on a stock Xtreme suspension? No, you should avoid running shocks built for a 2.5–4 inch lift on a stock or mildly leveled Xtreme suspension. Because those shocks are too long, your suspension will bottom out internally on the shock body before hitting your factory bump stops, which can ruin the shocks and damage your mounts. Stick with shocks rated for a 0 to 2-inch lift unless you are installing a full suspension lift kit.
